Different Types of Embroidery Pakistani Suits

Embroidery is one of India’s oldest fine arts. Moreover, embroideries are several centuries old and have been used in different countries in different forms to decorate fabrics and outfits. Typically, in Indian fashions, you will find embroideries stitched in ethnic outfits, such as Wedding Pakistani suits, wedding lehenga, and Anarkalis,  using different techniques or tools, including needles, threads, stones, plastic sequins, lace, mirrors, and patches. If you are buying Pakistani suits online, try to get the ones that are fashioned with locally made embroidery, preferably hand oven. They are the best.

However, you must choose the right embroidery and the right fabric when selecting a wedding dress. There are different kinds of embroideries available for designer Pakistani suits. They are Pashmina work, Mirror work, Zardosi, Aari work, Kutch work, and Patchwork. Aari and Kutch are not Pakistani cultures typically, but they are widely famous in India and abroad.

Few Tips While Choosing an Embroidered Pakistani suit

Embroidery salwar kameez and Pakistani wedding dresses are one of the popular Indian Wear Sections. There is no particular age group for embroideries; anyone can pull it off depending upon the fabric and color. You can custom-make your embroidery dress to suit your occasion and personal style. The following tips will help you select the design:

  • Choose a fabric that is strong enough for the embroidery, especially if it’s a wedding suit. Needles are extensively used in embroidering, so your fabric must be able to withstand the needle piercing.
  • Some of the popular fabric choices for embroideries are georgette, cotton and cotton mix, chiffon, jute, velvet, rayon, linen, and net.
  • However, even in these fabrics, you get to have them in different grades and price ranges. Don’t try to bargain on the quality, particularly when it’s your wedding. Choose wisely.
  • For the wedding dress, try to go with intricate embroidery with fine detailing. Gold thread and stonework should be a top choice. Remember that finer the design, better the look. Go for a flowy material for the occasion, preferably net or georgette.
  • If your kurta is plain, which is most often the case in Pakistani suits, design your salwar and dupatta heavily with embroidery.
  • Avoid embroidering churidar pants. Always choose Patiala or Punjabi salwar instead.
  • You can also select two or more techniques for designing your outfit. For instance, you can combine thread work and stones or choose zardosi and applique.
  • Don’t forget to embroider the highlights – the neck, the sleeves, the yoke, and the side slits.
  • To ensure you choose the right design and fabric for your body type and personality, do consult your designer and ask their expert suggestion.
