Choosing An Indian Outfit For Festive Season

Did you know that ‘festivals in India stay for more than 365 days in a year’!? Jokes apart, this saying can be applied to the facts that Indian has the most number of festivals or celebration than that of any other country in the world. Not only it’s shocking but also a wonderful excuse to shop online and stack all your favourite Indian dresses for those special times. Festivals or events or occasions are the times when one desires to look their best and avoid any kind of bad choices or pairs. Indian festivals such as Diwali, Dussehra, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Pooja are some of the most crowded and widely celebrated festivals. And prior to a month of the commencement of such events, people started to hunt for their lucky costume of the year. The early search and mind-makeup are necessary to be ready with what you choose to wear at the time.

Apart from the Indian outfit, jewellery and matching accessories are also important to look complete. Do not forget them to buy online as well. There are many Indo-wears but ethnic outfits do not disappoint in either case and thus most preferable choice of women. So, let’s start catching some various Indian outfits for the festival season:

Lehenga With Shirt

There is absolutely no harm to experiment now and then with your classic collection of Indian outfits. Same also drives boredom in life; so, let bring out some changes.

Try a traditional lehenga skirt with contemporary yet plain white shirt. You can also try embroidered shirt in light hue and can wear it with a contrasting coloured lehenga. Make sure the shirt is well pleated and tucked in properly. With light coloured shirt such as in white, the colour of jewellery blooms perfectly.

Palazzo Pants With Long Jacket

Traditional long jackets have been in trend for a very long time. This time try it with a little twist – don palazzo pants with a long traditional jacket. With embroidered work pattern and of course, minimal embellishments or stonework, the jacket will be an absolute charmer in your complete appearance. Whether the combo is from the ethnic collection or contemporary one, make sure both are in sync.

Kurti With Dhoti pants

Let ditch plain salwars this time and steal the style notion from men’s closet. This festive season, try dhoti pants with medium length to short length kurtis. Lend this fashionista look from the influencers and feel the fresh vibe around you again.

Make sure to select a not so heavily worked dhoti salwar. These salwars are available in a pre-pleated style to be easily and quickly done. Check out Bollywood celebrity look by pairing up dhoti pants with short Anarkali kurtis, tunics and peplum tops. Do not forget to match up your look with quirky earrings and Bohemian jutti.
